have to agree with Wiggy there although i wont be using one lol NO YANKS! is daft always look forward to seeing what yanks people dare to use weather or not they use them to rod or wreck...

its been no yanks for a few years now, but i do agree with the ruling as you'd get some tool whos not done tnb all season bar 1 WQR turning up in a lincoln limo in the LCQ or something.
previously, some yanks had seriously incorrect physics resulting inthem being much faster than a granada, as an example, which many found unfair on world final night. this is the case at more banked tracks such as birmingham where they can certainly dominate (ask ryano!), but not nessecarily at wimbledon due to its flat surface evening things out.
whilst the majority of yanks have now been corrected there are still some rogue ones out there - in previous years its been much easier to just apply a non yank rule which has just stuck.

from memory, other league world finals that haven't had a non yank rule inplace only get a couple of them turn up anyway - plenty of alternatives to yanks if youre wanting to take something big, such as the rarely used european opel hearses, DS420s, previas, majestics etc, the latter even proving to be competetive against granadas more than once this year ;-)

By that do you mean for example if lee606 doesnt confirm then dippy will fill his spot as 1st reserve?

Or do you mean if 3 people dont confirm for the main race it will be top4 in the lcq that can get in.

Think the 1st option is better personally stops people turning up and doing well in the lcq and getting in the main race hacing now raced all season.

Just think it should drop down in the points if thats not what you meant.

Staying i expect wiggy, theres a load of hueg cars that arent yanks, ds420's. granada hearse/limo's and you can drive them.
