Battle of the Leagues 2008

Being a complete and utter anorak (or sadact, you decide!) i have over time tried to keep as much info from my Banger Heat exploits as possible, back in the day i used to keep any info i could lay my hands on and one meeting i though a good number of TNB'ers would like to look back on is the Tadsnet "Battle of the Leagues" from 2008 (which was due to run over several legs but only ever ran the once). As well as TNB, other leagues which took part were UKDirt led by Knobby, FNB led by Stig, BWS led by Reg, WNT led by Snapper and Team TADS which was jointly led by Hooty and Tads. There was also an MNB led by Dippy which failed to show.

The format was 4 heats of 2 Litres at Standlake and 2 heats of Ford Anglias only at Newtongrange. Only the top 3 in each heat scored points (15, 10 and 5) with the points being doubled for the final. The results were as follows....
